Last year Smiths Jewelers highlighted one of Galatea's floral designs in their Gloria collection for the Peony Festival. There was so much enthusiasm shown towards the Gloria collection, we reached out to Chi, the designer behind Galatea. He designed an exclusive peony pendant only sold at Smiths Jewelers. This pendant comes in different configurations to suite a multitude of styles and aesthetics. ⁠⁠
The peonies petals are offered in sterling silver or 14K white gold and are polished to a mirror finish.⁠⁠
 The pistil of the peony is made up of three components. At the bottom is the colored opal used to create the optical illusion Galatea calls "painting with light." Light refracted off of the colored opal is projected onto the petals via an opening that wraps around the setting holding the diamond, giving it that "painted" illusion. The opal is offered in three colors: pink, yellow, or white. ⁠⁠
The middle portion of the pistil features a 14K yellow gold diamond setting resembling the stigma part of the plant.⁠⁠
Located at the top of the pistil is a brilliant round cut diamond to compliment this stunning pendant. ⁠

Smith's Jewelers will only be selling these pendants over-the-counter on the day of the festival (May 21st), but will be accepting limited pre-orders in store and right here on our website.
